Sven and Natasha are Animal Liberation activists who were recently convicted of Conspiracy to Blackmail for their campaign against the UK’s largest animal experimentation enterprise, Huntindon Life Sciences (now called Envigo). On January 28 of this year, Sven was sentenced to 5 years in prison and Natasha received 2 years. And now the UK has moved to have Sven deported, threatening to separate him from his partner of 10 years.

His support team has issued an urgent request for solidarity, re-published here, and established a fundraiser to pay legal fees to help fight this new assault on our comrade:

The Home Office in England is preparing to enforce a Deportation Order against Sven. This type of order means he would be automatically banned from the UK for the rest of his life. This would deeply affect his relationship with his British partner of ten years.

We are fundraising to cover the costs of getting specialist legal advice and support from an Immigration Lawyer. Sven is not eligible for legal aid for this matter, so we urgently need to fund the lawyer in order to try to fight the deportation.

We are asking for individual and group donations to help pay for this urgent and necessary expense. Please donate and share!

Help Sven with urgent legal costs to fight deportation!
